SAVING ANIMALS LIVES... THE HEART OF WHAT WE DO
I am an animal rescuer.
I know of no creature unworthy of my time.
I will hand raise a field mouse.
I will make friends with a vulture.
My work is never done.
My house is never quiet.
My wallet is always empty.
But my heart is always full. |

It's True That No One Person Can Save Them All… But if You Can Make a Difference in the Life of Just One Animal, Your Contribution is Invaluable!!
HEART relies solely on the time, energy, and dedication of volunteers. Brought together by a love of animals, our volunteers save the lives of hundreds of animals each year. It's quite a "high" when we are able to make a difference in the life of a deserving animal.
You must be 18 years of age or older to be a volunteer. Those under 18 may participate if their parents are active members of HEART. Active members must complete a Volunteer Application and are expected to perform a regular “paws-on” assignment. There are a variety of ways you can get involved. The wagging tails and purrs of the grateful animals you are helping will be your reward!! |
