HEART is the advocate for the "underdog" whether feline or canine, fur or feather.
Since HEART was formed in 1984, we have saved the lives of thousands of animals!

URGENT NEED FOR FOSTER HOMES!!
HEART does not have a shelter facility and relies on volunteer foster homes.
It's true that no one person can save them all - but if you can make a difference in the life of even one animal,
your contribution is invaluable!! For more information visit our Foster Program page.

"I WISH I COULD BE SOMEONE'S PET"

The sky may be clear but it's raining cats and kittens at HEART. We have cats and kittens in every conceivable color and design and they are incredibly cute.

The adoption fee for cats five months and older is $80.00.
The adoption fee for kittens four months and younger is $95.00.
HEART does not advocate declawing. Declawed cats, if available, are $120.00.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FIV and feline leukemia testing, de-worming, flea treatment, distemper vaccination, distemper booster (if age appropriate), rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), and a Free First Vet Visit Certificate.

We show a selection of cats and kittens for adoption at the following locations:

  • PetSmart - Quaker Crossing, 3425 Amelia Drive, Orchard Park
  • PETCO - 330 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca
  • Pet Adoption Center – 184 Buffalo Street, Hamburg (Saturday 10 am - 3 pm)

  • Please call or e-mail if you're interested in meeting a specific cat you’ve seen or for information on cats and kittens that have not yet made their way to one of our adoption locations. You can also visit www.postapoochplus.com for personal pets looking for a new home.

HEART strives to match people with pets that fit their lifestyles. Adoptions are made in the best interest of the animal and the family. HEART may not allow adoption of a particular animal if the animal's needs, personality or temperament are not suited to the adopter or the adopter's living situation.
